The only part not recycled on this compression sack is the thread. The idea behind this bag was a confluence of green cordura that had been laying around for a long while. I collected about every strap and buckle that I came across after almost a decade as a military contractor working with Robin Sage. Quite a few have fallen off of packs over the years. The paracord is just always around in my life. I love compression sacks, they are essential, when you love hyperlight camping. It wound up to be a perfect fit for the berber carpet ghillie suit.
The idea behind the creation of this sack is the wife's ultimatum: either you make something out of this or I'm getting rid of it. She really knows how to motivate me!
